Roaches all over found them in the bathroom, by the bed on the nightstand it was gross

We booked this stay very last minute to join some friends who were camping nearby (there was no way I could get our camping gear ready in time). I was so blown away by this property. I’ve been gushing about it all week, The decor was beautiful, room size was huge, bed and sleeper sofa were super comfortable and the whole place smelled like a spa! We were also pleasantly surprised at how cute and vibrant downtown Elizabethton was on a Saturday night. Would 100% stay again!

Loved The Gracie Suite! We absolutely loved our stay at The Downtown Post in The Gracie Suite! From the moment we arrived, it felt comfortable, welcoming, and peaceful. The suite was beautifully done, very clean, and had so much charm and character. It was one of those places where you immediately feel at home. Everything was thoughtfully put together, and we really appreciated the little details that made our stay extra enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will definitely stay here again and won't hesitate to recommend "The Downtown Post" to family and friends. If you're considering booking it—do it! Great location. Easy to walk to everything! Didn't use the loft but it was an interesting feature. Common area was spotless and retro video game machine was fun

Roaches in the room. When mentioned to the staff, they acted like they didn’t care. Said since I booked through a third party,(Expedia), there was nothing they could do. I paid over $300 for one night at this place because the Bristol Race was in town. Any other night this room would have been less than $100.
