“It was a nice experience staying there, the only thing was that we ran out of hot water.”

“The host overturned our pet fee because she liked our cleanup. She even offered to defer it for future stays. That's awesome.”

“nice little spot”

“What a great property! Directions were on point. We booked for a girls" trip for four of us and we each had our separate spaces to decompress and be in the moment of this lovely place. Each bedroom was an en-suite, had separate WFH areas if needed also. Very clean and beds were so comfy ! Decor was beautiful. Easy drives to Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk. Communication with the host was great. Looking to book again here !”

“Hidden Gem is amazing. We stayed for 4 days to enjoy the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games. The house was perfect for a mix of adults and young children. Super clear and easy booking, communication, check-in and check-out. We already have ideas on coming back. Highly recommend.”

“Renting from this host has been a 100 percent positive experience for me! The home fit all our needs, as well as being quiet and well outfitted, the hot tub was a plus on many evenings. This was my first long term rental and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it was managed by our host. He was quick to respond to questions, moved quickly on a small repair that was necessary, and generally made us feel welcome. Would definitely rent again! Barbara”

“Loved how quiet it was and convenience to Boone and Blowing Rock. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Enjoyed grilling one night. The cabin is so cozy! Would definitely stay there again.”

“Lots of cozy Mountain Vibes at this place. We loved the living area and kitchen close together with a screened door that allowed the crisp fall air to blow in. The porches are well covered so even when we had rain we were able to sit outside with a blanket and enjoy the views. There were plenty of small tables for drinks, devices, books, etc. and charging cords so we were really able to settle in and be at home away from home. Smart TV's enabled lots of streaming services. The kitchen had just……

“When we first walked in we noticed how clean and amazing it smelled! The house was beautiful and the host had clear instructions to use all appliances and for check out. We will definitely stay again!”

“The property was unkempt, very dirty. There were 2 window units for a 3 story 5 bedroom unit which in no way is adequate. The hot tub had not been serviced in a while. There was “ gunk” and debris clinging to the filter. Grill grate was broken, the other had chunks of old food on it. Silverware drawer was full of crumbs ( we assumed that’s is what it was) carpets were filthy. There were several fans in the house, but they were covered in dust. The odor was that of mildew and mold. It was a bad……

“We loved the cabin! Great views and lots of family friendly boardgames. The gas fireplace in the living room was very cozy! Will definitely stay again!”

“There was no cooktop or AC in bedroom. The shared deck didn’t look like pictures and when a whole family was in the next unit, there was no privacy on it. Could only stream on TV. Location was OK but couldn’t walk to Blowing Rick.”

“The entire cabin was great. I really loved the back porch with the creek side sounds.”

“As perfect as they come! Awesome direction and great area. I normally stay close to Boone but so glad I found this place!”

“Very comfortable stay beds, pillows, furniture, etc. everything was clean and well stocked. ”

“We had a great time on our girls weekend trip to Banner Elk. The cabin was spacious, welcoming and clean. Unfortunately we did have issues with the hot tub. The control panel was not functioning so no jets. We notified the host who was quick to respond and have maintenance get it working but with it being the weekend everyone was off. It didn’t ruin our trip we still had a great time. We will definitely be back ”
