“It was nice and affordable. The location and the cabin overall was very nice. Kitchen, appliances, towels are all very good. I wish they changed the rugs on both the floors as they look really old, dirty and smelly. The basement toilet overflowed but since there are two other bathrooms we were ok. “We truly enjoyed staying at Alex’s little treehouse in the mountains. We are a small family of humans and furry babies and it suited us perfectly. It was an easy drive to both the city (Boone) or the ski slopes (Sugar Mountain) - they are both within 15m driving, albeit in opposite directions. The cabin is well stocked and has been updated, so don’t let the rustic or cabin decor fool you. The kitchen has granite countertops and all of the pots, pans, dishes, and utensils you need to prepare your……

“Beautiful rustic mountain house, we loved the decor, obvious updates throughout, especially in the kitchen appliances and bathroom areas. We had everything we needed, especially enjoyed the gas fireplace on a rainy night. Comfy huge king beds, perfect accommodation for our hiking trip! Would definitely stay here again! Perfect for 2 couples with the two king bedrooms on separate sides of the house, each with their own full baths. Did not get a chance to use the hot tub unfortunately but it……
