I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding my stay at Roatán Media Luna Resort affiliated by Meliá between 18th and 21st of March 2026, in the room # 108.
The bathroom floor in my room was in very poor condition, as evidenced in the photographs previously provided. The deterioration of the flooring not only affected the aesthetics of the room but also raised concerns regarding safety and proper maintenance standards expected from a property affiliated with the Meliá brand.
This situation significantly impacted on the comfort and quality of my stay. I trust that Meliá upholds high standards across its affiliated properties, and unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations.
Given the circumstances, I respectfully request appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused. Considering the condition of the room and the impact on my stay, I believe a compensation equivalent to 30–40% of the total amount paid would be reasonable.
