"The hotel does not appear to be cleaned very often. Elevators were dirty, balcony was dirty,. Place handheld showerhead on the shower floor because it was dripping and placed a washcloth underneath it and in the morning the cloth was black. The hot tub was not working because the switch was completely broken. Expected more cleanliness from a hotel like this."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-day stay at Embassy Suites to attend a concert at Live Oak Pavilion. Our room was beautiful, with a great view of the river - it was quiet at the end of the hall. The food at breakfast and our restaurant dinner were tasty. We appreciated the assistance of the staff -- the front desk texted us to check on our stay and answered questions for us. I only have 2 less than perfect comments: the pillows on the bed are pitiful. When we went to drive out of the parking deck to depart, we found out that we still had to have our room key to get out (or pay $15)."

"Great property located on Wrightsville Beach. Although the hotel structure is a little older, all of the updates made by Trailborn have made the property feel new. All the amenities are there with a nice small pier across the street on the sound side of the island for watching sunsets."

"It’s a basic motel in a “hotel row” part of town. Its economy, so you expect a certain degree of salt of the earth in the guests and locals. But it serves the purpose we need it for, a clean bed and cold room after traveling all day/night. The staff was friendly and helpful and I had a comfortable stay."
