We booked the club room with terrace but were told it does not have the lake view so we ended up paying extra to upgrade to a suite. The room was spacious & clean with lake view. However, we could not sleep well both nights as it was quite itchy in the bed. First night we did not say anything but 2nd night we asked housekeeping to change the sheets. Not sure of the issue as it was still not comfortable enough to sleep well. Upon checkout we told this when we were asked if we stayed comfortably n advised them not to give this premium room to customer without checking the issue. My husband even got some red irritation marks on his leg. We were decent enough to leave the hotel without creating any issues out of the lack of basic comfy feel, however grand Hyatt was not decent enough to even offer refund of the extra money paid on check in. Also note, we already paid Expedia more for the club terrace room (about 57k INR for 2 nights) than what was the fee for the suite room on grand Hyatt website. Still they asked for additional 7080 for the upgrade as we wanted the lake view. Paying the fee was not the issue: issue was our stay was not comfortable as expected especially to sleep in and with brands like grand Hyatt I would expect basic courtesy for refund of extra paid atleast for the upgrade. They could have considered that we had club access for 2 days but we used it only for 1 day. Rest the staff were polite and hotel looked clean. Breakfast had a decent variety of south india
