Bad checkin process and no local help
We arrived to our unit and were supposed to be able to access the unit and garage from a lockbox. We could not get it open. Seems like we were given the wrong code. We called Vacasa and they tried to help but only has the same code as us. We were on ther phone with them for over an hour out in the cold Colorado weather.They were in a different country and could not send anyone local. We found and used the backup lockbox and got it open but it only had one one card. This is what we used the entire time. Not ideal for a group of 4 coming off the slopes at different times. We called the manager of the common placeto get extra keys but never got extra keys. We had no hot water the first 2 days. We tried to reach out to Vacasa and finally on our own got a property manger to come up and he fixed it after 2 days of no hot water. Unacceptable. There is no one local that can help or you can contact. And if that is the case than everything should run very smootly, which it did not. We have stayed at the Timbers before and we love the location and property, but we wil not stay in the unit again because of the checkin issues and lack of keysto get in and out of the building.
