Quiet pleasant surroundings, very good food, attentive and friendly staff.

Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. Staff were friendly . Room was spotless with lots of coffee etc . Leisure centre was an added bonus

We arrived late morning on Monday hoping to get a meal at the Inn before checking in but, everywhere was locked up and no indication of when or whether they were going to open. We went back a couple of times, at 12:00 & 12:30, still no one there and no one answering the phone. We returned at 14:30 the door was then open and a member of staff told us that they were only open between 14:00 & 20:00 and that no food other than breakfast would be available on Monday & Tuesday; not the warm welcome we were promised on their website. The room was adequate although the shower tray didn’t drain quickly & was prone to overflow. Overall the property gave the impression of the owner being more interested in taking money out rather than investing in the business. Also we would recommend external signage and changes to the website to give information about opening times and food availability. We will not be returning and will not recommend it to others.

Good rooms very pleasant staff hotel was clean

First class experience. The landlady was very welcoming and friendly Nice comfy bed and spacious bedroom. Very nice freshly cooked breakfast Just a 15 minute easy walk into the town. Would highly recommend
