Hôtel un peu vieillot à l’écart du cœur de Agadir. Personnel très serviable. Hôtel très propre.

**My Worst Hotel Experience Ever – Atlantic Hotel Agadir, 11–12 October 2026** This was the most appalling hotel experience of my life. At check-in, the receptionist explicitly assured me that I could enjoy everything in the minibar free of charge. I was delighted and even commented that I had never experienced such generous hotel service before. However, at check-out, staff suddenly demanded payment for the minibar items without even stating the amount. I refused, explaining that I had expressly been promised complimentary minibar use. What happened next was shocking. The hotel staff closed the exit door, preventing me from leaving, and threatened to call the police unless I paid within five minutes. I told them to call the police. I was effectively prevented from leaving for approximately 20 minutes and finally escaped this unacceptable situation only when another person entered the building. I suspect this may not have been an isolated incident and fear that similar deceptive tactics could be used against guests travelling alone. I consider this conduct intimidating, potentially fraudulent and completely unacceptable. I urge Hotels.com to investigate this hotel and remove it from its listings to protect other travellers from similar distressing experiences. **I strongly advise everyone to avoid Atlantic Hotel Agadir.**

The hotel rooms were cleaned everyday only one problem i had was toilet broken not flushing ,apart from this its a lovely hotel great pool and internment the food was excellent enjoyed evermeal, a little disappointed about the free minibar i assumed we would get water each day
