Explore the Port Macquarie coastal walk, which runs along the beach. The last stop is the Tacking Point Lighthouse, built in 1879. Set aside time to take photos of the panoramic views and watch for pods of dolphins frolicking in the waves. From May to November each year, this is one of the best vantage points to spot whales.
