Great place to stay, with so much character. We loved the old beams and uneven floors just shows how old it is. And long Melford is a lovely place. Would definitely stay again

This hotel is 15th Century. Absolutely gorgeous. Staff friendly and helpful. Cleanliness was excellent. Food great Enjoyed it so much going back next week.

Great food in the evening. Breakfast experience less so, just not great with the cleaner hoovering around you at 7am. Breakfast order not offered for ten minutes. Room I was in was incredibly noisy from the bar till 11pm and then from 4am with traffic noise. Staff great, room clean and warm, and as I said good food.

We stayed in the Melford Suite which was very comfortable and full of character. The staff were excellent, all very helpful and cheerful. Free parking is a big plus. The breakfast was delicious and so big we didn't need to eat again until the evening! Overall we were very happy and satisfied with our visit.

Great place to stay with a beautiful and unique building. The staff are all wonderful, friendly and helpful. I enjoyed it so much the first time that I went back!

An old property built in 1450, it had old world charm but the bed rooms are up to date and comfortable.

Wonderful old hotel
Full of charm and character, good food reasonably priced, the only negative was noise from adjoining rooms probably due to the oldness of the building.

Pleasant place
Pleasant and helpful staff. Problem connecting to Wi Fi. Same connection process with all Greene King Houses apparently. (Would not accept various passwords tried) So frustrating! Apart from this nice experience.

Very comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and polite. Great choice for breakfast. Will Deffinately return there on our next visit to see family.

Staff were friendly and approachable. Issues with heating. The first room was very hot due to heating pipes running around it. We had to keep windows open all night and then got the noise from boilers/extractor. We were moved to a second room where the radiators were turned off altogether! Although it was just warm enough not to need them it could have been an issue had the weather turned
