"We had a nice large room and a very comfortable bed. Free snacks and coffee served 24 hours. Our breakfast was very good and several options. We were close to downtown and our room looked out over the lake."

"A beautiful place, very woodsy and up north. Clean, nice room. Hair dryer is in the closet in a hanging bag. I would have used the pool but we were too busy with party planning in the area. Very friendly staff. Plenty of free parking."

"We had a lovely time at this charming cabin. The fall colors were beautiful. We had fun on the pontoon and caught some large bass and pike. Everything was set up so nicely and the host had excellent communication. I felt very prepared for the trip and knew how everything worked and where everything was before we arrived. It was so easy to get settled in. The cabin itself is incredible. The bunkhouse was an added bonus. Our family of four was perfectly happy at this property. The host also sent some ideas for activities in the area which was super helpful and appreciated. The location is on a lovely lake and also close to a couple of towns that offer great options for shopping and food. It felt very private yet close to things if we needed them. We had a great stay. Thank you for making this property available to us!"

"This is a high quality property which provided our family of 12 (3 generations) with a very comfortable and enjoyable week on a beautiful lake. We have rented many cabins over the years and this has been one of our best experiences. We do hope to find another week next year to return!"

Private Exclusive Lodge with beautiful views. Perfect for large groups & family

"This is a beautiful home with fantastic waterfront on a clear, deep and quiet lake. We love to swim and the swim area at the end of the dock is nice hard sand, about 4 feet deep, with no weeds and crystal clear water. You do need to cross a band of rocks in the shallow water to get there. Most of us wore water shoes to cross over and then took them off and put them on the dock while swimming. It's also a pretty steep trail down to the water - not for anyone with mobility issues, but nicely done with flat stone steps much of the way. The lake view is really beautiful from the house and decks. We also enjoyed taking the kayaks out for paddles around Horseshoe Island, watching movies in the movie theater, playing video games on the arcade cabinet, making smores in the fire pit, playing outdoor ping pong, and playing board and card games both inside the lodge and outside on the extensive patios and decks. The kitchen has anything you could possibly need and the rooms and beds were comfortable. The bunk room beds are on the short side but a really fun room for kids. Nearest grocery is only 15 minutes away and definitely a full-service, big store even though the Longville is pretty small. Owner was responsive to questions and helped us. This is definitely a personal home rather than a commercial investment property so expect meticulous instructions and plan to take extra care of it. It's really lovely."
