"No one was on site when we arrived at 11:45. Building was under construction at the time. Had to call a number to get a code to enter the building. Hall way was full of construction materials. Once settled in and finally asleep and resting.. the construction began at 7;00 am. With hammers and banging we were unable to sleep in. Only received approx 5-6 hours of sleep.. had we of known about the building being under construction, we would have stayed somewhere else. The lady present when we checked out was extremely nice, that was the highlight of our stay!"

"The host was responsive and helpful. The property had most everything guests could want or need. The house was clean and spacious. The 4th bedroom is very small with twin beds. No downstairs bedroom made it difficult for one health challenged guest. Lots of rain made it impossible to use outside grill. We were warned about snakes and yes, we saw snakes inside and out. We were a short drive to Winterset and the covered bridges.We had a good time with family and enjoyed the rural setting."

"Heather takes care of the breakfast area. . Amazing. Always spotless and food topped of with fresh hot food. Please take great care of her. Your hotel is better with her working the breakfast. Kelly helped me on check in by finding a ground floor room or us. We had our dog and first floor really helped. Thanks quality inn"

"This is a quaint small home in a quiet neighborhood. There was only two in our party, but the home could accommodate up to 6. Extremely clean 2 br, 1 bath home, the home has a couch that converted to a bed. All updated appliances even a small basement with washer and dryer. The host thought of the smallest details. We had a great time visiting family in the area and will definitely be back!"

"If possible I would give this rental 10 star. It was by far the "best" VRBO we have ever stayed in, and we've stayed a lot of places! Not only is the space everything stated and then some, the little town is one of the friendliest also. From great places to eat, cute shops,and a wonderful farmers market on Saturday. Would be well worth a trip for a great get away! Thanks to the host for creating such a special environment blending the 100 year old building with all the modern conveniences."
