Within minutes in either direction and no idle zones, is the 7-mile bridge and Vaca Cut to enter the Atlantic Ocean. If there are rough seas in the ocean, the Bayside is typically calmer. The Gulf is where you are going to find lobster and excellent conditions for kayaking and paddle boarding.
