Didn't like that it wasn't 11 o'clock and they thought we left and they went open the door and my daughter was in the room still it was around 9am check out its at 11am

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of wonderful. The property is stunningly beautiful and immaculately kept, but what truly sets it apart is the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. We loved spending our afternoon in the pool, and every morning kicked off perfectly with a delicious and impressive variety of breakfast options. We couldn't have asked for a better spot to rest and rejuvenate. We will definitely be back!

It is a unique rustic hotel that fit our needs for the night.

To avoid confusion, you should know that if you book multiple rooms through Expedia, the hotel staff will assign each room a confirmation number. However, this will not be communicated to you. You will have but one confirmation number, and that will likely be the number of the first traveler. Subsequent rooms and travelers will have a secret (I guess) confirmation number that, when you can’t produce it because it has not been communicated to you, will make finding those other rooms nigh unto impossible. Chaos will ensue, especially if last names on those rooms don’t match. Though we arrived a full 1.5 hours after check in time, we were told our rooms were not ready…and then they were. Once rooms were assigned, the rooms themselves were clean comfortable, and suitable for the rest we needed. The following morning, I was informed I would be charged for another room, though payment had already been made. When I tried to explain the situation to the desk attendant, the individual simply could not fathom that I had but one confirmation number for the three room, and do NOT want to see, or read, the confirmation message from Expedia. The hotel also did not receive a message I had sent through the Expedia portal. When management arrived, things were suddenly different. The confusion cleared and no extra charge was waged. There is definitely something procedural that should be addressed in terms of communication with the guest either directly or through the Expedia portal.
