“The room was fine, just wasn’t as clean as I would prefer. I had to wipe down inside of drawers to put clothes in, as well as the coffee maker and inside microwave. One of the draw curtains was partly off the rod so I had to maneuver curtains to secure privacy. All in all, a decent place to stay for a few nights. Rich and staff are very friendly. ”

“This is in a wonderful area of the Catskills with a creek streaming in the back if you wish to visit it. I've stayed a few times and I've seen many people take their dogs to Black Bear. They love the treed property for walks. It's close to farm stands or antiquing in the various towns along route 23.”
