The staff was friendly, welcoming and always ready to help. The location was convenient and everything we needed was easily accessible. There is a 711 on the side of the hotel and Lawson across the street. There's a roof top also which is very nice at night. And the of course the bar below it. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again. "It was probably best choice I made as really close to Nara park with all deer that can be polite but scary at same time. Worth the experience. I want say the traditional style was amazing be prepared as all stairs . Amenities like private bath traditional style ice machine on fist floor and massage chairs. And when you check out want explore can leave luggage in massage chair room until ready go next destination. I high recommend and come back."

"The room was super clean and well-maintained, with complementary amenities (rice crackers, water bottles, etc.). There was a laundry machine, too, which was convenient. The proximity to both JR and Kintetsu Nara Stations (about 7 minutes on foot) was definitely a plus. I highly recommend this place for anyone."

"Room was clean with comfortable bed. Room was quite small though so was a struggle with some of the luggage. Bathroom was also small but was okay. Hotel is well located though near to the train station. Breakfast was good."

"The hotel was the least “commercial” of the places we stayed in our 11-day trip to Japan. It was smaller and a little more quaint. We appreciated the little bags with the hotel name on them into which we could put selected amenities.
