“Located just 25min from Lancaster and about 20min from Bird in Hand, this property is a dream. You get to wake up to the clopping of the horse drawn buggies and go to bed with the singing of the bugs! You are right in Amish county proper. The house is clean and very well maintained, the grounds are well kept and it fells like a home away from home. The host has thought of everything from dish soap to bath soap and shampoos. AC works wonderfully and kitchen is spotless. Rooms are more than……

5. Charming 2-bedroom B&B in Honey Brook with WiFi, fitness room bed and breakfast

Honey Brook

“The host did not disclose they live there and refused to vacate the property during our scheduled rental time. They had pets that was also undisclosed which would have caused concern for allergic guests. The contract was changed after signing to add additional fees. It is against vrbo policy for the owner to live on the premises. Thankfully vrbo was helpful and offered a refund but our event was displaced with no where to go within one hour of its start time. ”

“I accidentally made a reservation on a qnd floor with stairs.we asked the first desk if we could have a ground level. She said she could not more us since the reservation was made with a third party but if we booked straight through to hotel she could. We are both in our 70's and it was very difficult to carry our things up the narrow stairs. No elevator. I really don't understand why they could not change the room.”

“Phenomenal location! Within walking and short driving distance to lots of restaurants and shopping. Scenery is absolutely beautiful! The room was spacious and bed/pillows were comfortable. Although the property appears to be newer, we were saddened by a few things. The water in the shower didn’t get hot and the air in our room didn’t get cold. We sat in the lobby for a few minutes on Saturday around 12:30PM. The lobby was empty but there wasn’t one clean table and food/garbage all over the……
