"It is a lovely hotel, clean and comfortable. Our favorite part was their AMAZING restaurant. We had whitefish and ribs one night, and Lake perch another, with wild rice. Delicious!"

"Great accommodations you had a beach you had rowboats you could take out on the lake and very quiet property but if you want anything outside of the property the town doesn't have anything to do. If you want peace and quiet and solitude it's exactly what you want"

"We loved the location of Susan’s cottage. She was so easy and nice to communicate with prior to arrival. We loved being able to walk to the small town one way, and down to the point the other way. The cottage was immaculate. Our favorite part was being able to walk out the back door and after about five minutes be at the beach of Lake Superior. A beautiful and wild lake. The beach was a perfect mix of sand and rocks. Great place to launch our kayak. We also loved being close to Pictured Rocks. I highly recommend going to Sable Falls and following the trail to the lake. The only thing to keep in mind is that the town has only the bare minimum of groceries. It was hard for us to find vegetables. The locals told us the nearest place for this was in Newberry or Manistique. Otherwise, we had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the kids loved the recliners, and the fire pit just behind the house was a perfect way to end our nights. Overall a great, comfortable house.
