My run had roaches , had a gun left in the room from a crime scene. I took pictures and a video of the poor conditions. I had to walk with luggage and find another hotel at midnight. They had to call the police to retrieve the weapon. So I would say poor experience. Never got my money back by the way . I need reimbursement.

I prepaid for a NON SMOKING ROOM. When I checked into the room is WAS A SMOKING ROOM, cigarette burns on the comforters and toilet, it smelled real bad, the bathroom was dirty, that bathroom door looked like a floor that has never been cleaned. One of the beds had a big dip in in, very uncomfortable experience. I drove 8 hours to get my daughter from college only to get a very disgusting room. All the other hotels were sold out. I let the manager know he said they would take care of my at checkout, which was a lie because at checkout the clerk said there nothing the front desk could do because I prepaid. So I had the clerk call the manger who was not at work and that manager said I had to contact whomever I prepaid with. So why did he said he would reimburse me at checkout? Only to tell me at checkout to contact the 3rd party? He definitely should not be a manager lying to customers. The ONLY reason I stayed there was because all the HOTELS were completely booked due to a college graduation and my own daughter’s University is 10 minutes away. I will NEVER STAY AT ANY DIRTY, DISGUSTING, LYING Red Roof Inn again.That was my first and last time ever staying there. I think the health inspector needs a call next.
