You have the opportunity for a day trip to Espedalen via Skåbu, where you can go horseback riding in the summer. Good fishing opportunities can be found in the mountains. Hiking opportunities are available both in the immediate vicinity of the cottage, as well as to Venabygd, Rondane or Kvamsfjellet for longer tours. Vinstra is only a 7-minute drive away and offers stores and restaurants.
