I was a little apprehensive about staying at a motel 6. This place really exceeded my expectations! Everyone was so friendly. We did not think our room was ready but the owner was willing to run over and check it out for us. We had stayed at the Eastland hotel across the street and this place was superior in every facet. The hotel has been renovated and it was very clean. Limited breakfast option but we were going to grab something on the road. We will stay there again.

I was put in an accessible room. Hmm. Shower was not good, faced straight down by wall, unless you held it in one hand. Floor flooded. Outlet in bathroom only worked if you held in the plug. Room ok. There is an always on echo/alexa dot in there, i unplugged it. And the accessible room was at the far end of the hall, away from the elevator.
If you need one of those rooms, check the location.
Staff were great.

Room was old but pretty clean. I think mosquitoes were coming in from the window air conditioning unit, I kept finding dead ones on my bed. The room also had some drain bugs or fruit flies. The work out room was awful. Decent variety of breakfast items.

Customer service at Yugo Guest Suites was almost nonexistent. Unfortunately, you must fend for yourself.
They do not perform daily room cleaning services. Running hot water for cleaning and grooming disappeared after about five (5) minutes. The winter months in this region of Illinois can get extremely cold, yet the room heating system was far from helpful.
Yugo is a mixed-use apartment complex/hotel, with little emphasis placed on the hotel!
