“Easy walk to the beach and Asbury Park, lovely view of the lake. Comfortable mattress, good coffee, quiet, austere. We came to get some writing done and we were very happy at the Melrose. ”

“Great communication with the hosts. Room on the 1st floor was just right for 2 people. We were there for a week so having a mini fridge was helpful. The little lounge at the entrance had a coffeemaker, microwave and water/ice dispenser, which we and many guests used. Bathroom was small but not a big deal. Lots of parking outside the house. Overall a great stay - we will definitely be back.”
