The drive to and from the port is a very windy, narrow road. That was a little unnerving, but the view was outstanding!!

The port pick-up and departure process needs significant overhaul. It’s total chaos and the Santorini gov’t officials need to recognize that this is a terrible access point that needs to be improved for visitors.

The cable car is definitely worth the money because of the great view and convenience. We saw people walking up or down the path and they looked exhausted. It seems time consuming as well.

Nothing much there. Clean restroom for 50 cents

There’s a switchback stepped walk from Fira to Old Port. It’s nice to walk down then take the 6 euro cable car back up. Stayed for a couple hours at a restaurant at the port. Very entertaining watching wood sailing vessels come and go. It’s a very active port.
