Great Lake House
What a great little lake house located 10 minutes from everything. As advertised, it's a very clean and cozy house with great views, fully stocked with all your needs, and hosts that are super attentive.

Great Location!
Clean, comfortable and great location right on the water. Eagles, ducks, herrons, etc. right in the backyard. Not to mention, a stone's throw from the legendary Red Pines Bar and Grill!

Great property, great location
We took a long weekend trip with our dog and had such a great time at this property. Big yard for the dog to explore, beautiful view, and just a short drive to Onalaska and La Crosse. House had everything we needed to settle in and make it home for a few days. Can’t wait to go back in the fall.

Easter Weekend with family
Location was perfect. The lake house was clean and well stocked. Lee & Erin bought us extra baking sheets so that I could make homemade Easter bread to share with family. That was greatly appreciated. We spent a lot of time away from the house, but when we were there, the lake was peaceful and it was fun to watch the birds. We all really enjoyed our stay.

Winter Adventure in Onalaska, Wisconsin
Although we didn't have the snow for which we made this reservation, we found the area provided ample opportunities for a film festival, biking, hiking and even pickle ball at the local Y. Our host suggested local restaurants and was most responsive to communications. Would highly recommend it.

Always wonderful
The owners are so responsive, so caring, we thoroughly enjoy staying at their property every year during the holidays. It's appreciative to bring our dogs, they are family too. Will go back!

Great fishing cabin!
Stayed here for our annual Onalaska fishing trip. The location was perfect with the house less than 1/4 mile from the launch. There was room to park the truck while trailering a boat. Owners were very helpful and quickly replied to questions. It's a comfortable lake house we'll be happy to return to!

3rd year!
We had a great time at Brice Prairie. Easy walk to dinner. Great weather and we were able to get the dog out in the kayak! Pelicans and herons and cormorants were fishing nearby. Thank you for opening your home Erin and Lee. See you next year!

Family trip
Nice little cabin by the water. We enjoyed the stay. Kitchen stocked well, bed comfortable and rental felt safe. Check in really easy and check out even easier. Thanks for a great weekend

Cute, cozy cabin
We enjoyed our stay - the cabin was very cozy with a great yard, and had everything we needed. Great spot for kids and dogs. One thing to note, you can't really swim or fish right at the property. The lake is very shallow off the dock and has a pretty thick layer of algae. Wanted to mention as we were expecting to do so. We did rent a boat from Schaefer's and were able to go out and swim/fish off a sandbar in the Mississippi, about a 40 min drive out. Overall the property was very nice and I would recommend, just not exactly what we were expecting from a waterfront lake house.

A wonderful place
This place is awesome. The owners are very accommodating. We loved the area and kayaking. Now we have bought our own kayaks because of this experience. It was a great time with family and we enjoyed it so much. We will definitely be back again.

Really Nice Place
My wife and I really enjoyed our time here. The place was super clean, we had everything we needed and was able to enjoy peace and quiet just as we had hoped for. We will certainly keep this place in mind should we want to visit Onalaska again in the future. Thank you Lee and Erin for allowing us to stay!

Quiet little lake getaway
Lee and Erin were great hosts who made sure we had everything we needed! This little house was clean and ready for our vacation. We enjoyed fishing near the pier, and rented a boat from Schaefer's at the end of the road to go further out on the lake. We would happily stay here again!

Mini Vacation
My daughters (ages 20 and 23) and I stayed here for a mini vacation. It was wonderful. The place is better than the pictures show. Short drive to LaCrosse and Onalaska. The hosts were great!! They live right next door. We will definitely stay again if it works with our busy schedules.

Peaceful Week at the Lake
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Erin and Lee were very welcoming and easy to communicate with both before and during our stay. The house is cozy and equipped with everything you need for some time to relax. We loved being able to bring our dog with us and that we were able to use the grill, canoe, and kayaks!

Great rental home on lake
Lee and Erin was very helpful and flexible with our schedule and made our fishing trip enjoyable. The house was perfect for our short stay and located just down the street from boat rental. We even were able to fish from backyard dock on lake. We loved the lake map on table as we used it everyday to determine where to fish. Perfect little lakeside rental. Highly recommend.

Happy lake house
This cabin was the perfect place for me and my 2 sons to come fish and relax ... mother nature was a little fierce and did not cooperate but the comfort of this cabin made the trip very memorable!!! We are already talking about our next stay .definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quite retreat away from it all...

Great Waterfront Property!
Stayed here for a youth hockey tournament so our dogs could join us! The house was extremely clean and very accommodating to bringing our boxer dogs. The owner was also very accommodating to our uncertain schedule when playing in these tournaments. We will stay here again if we’re ever in this area again!

Warm, cozy and comfortable!
We were so happy to be able to take our fur babies with us for the Christmas holiday to celebrate with family. The home was warm, clean, comfortable, just perfect! Everything was laid out nicely and we had just what we needed, cannot speak highly enough of the owners, very communicative and very flexible, was appreciated while trying to navigate travel with a blizzard on the way! Will definitely be back!

Lakeside retreat
The property is situated on Lake Onalaska and is as advertised except that it looks bigger in the photos and more secluded. It is in a group of homes very close together but very quiet and private. The owners were very lovely and helpful and easy to communicate with. My husband and I were there by ourselves in the beginning and there was plenty of room for us. When our adult son and daughter in law joined us it was pretty tight quarters but just as listed. The home was well furnished and we had all the supplies we needed.

Great weekend stay at the cabin. Everything we needed to have our son come up from UW-LAX for dinner! The cabin is wonderful, fully stocked and extra clean. Enjoyed the kayaks and the views!

Beautiful home in a beautiful area
Thanks so much to the owners for making this a great stay. The home is wonderful with a great location, close to everything but secluded. Beautiful sunsets and fantastic birdwatching. Furnished with everything you need for one night or a dozen. We will definitely be back to this great property in Brice Prairie.

A nice and relaxing getaway
We had a wonderful stay at Erin and Lee’s lakeside cabin! My 8 year old daughter loved the trampoline and tree swing, and I must admit I did too! The cabin was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We will be back again!

We loved our stay here
Very clean, our frisbee catching Aussie loved the big back yard. We are so glad we stayed here. Excellent location for access to the Great River State Park Trail and to Schafer’s River Rental for our pontoon boat experience.

Relaxing Retreat

Family fishing vacation
This lake house is well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The house is spacious and very clean. It's on the lake and just a few doors down from the local boat rental and bait shop. There's local places that serve good food.
