The room was very clean and we were able to check in early! Great customer service!! Would definitely recommend and would stay here here again!

Well I checked in and was given room 251. Walked in and the smell of smoke was overwhelming. Hate smoke as it gives me a headache, but had to leave and when I got back asked to change rooms. They gave me room 145 and walked in and didnt smell like smoke (at first) but was very stale. The thermostat was shredded but was able to see the on/off and fan speed. Nothing worked. So went back and asked for a different room and was told since I was changed once, couldnt change again. They did give me a fan but it was so loud had to turn it off to get to sleep and then I could smell the smoke. Was barely able to sleep as the air was stale and smelled of smoke and ended up with a pounding headache. So a negative star but they do not allow it. The location is poor, but was thinking just needed a place to get some rest and it was cheap. Mistake as I had almost no rest but I guess it was cheap. Clientiele was like the people of Wal Mart, very iffy at best, but could have coped if the fan was working and didnt smell like smoke. Best to pay more money to have gotten some rest,

The staff was very nice and accommodating when I found out the hotel had no working elevator. We had a lot of luggage and my husband was injured. They found us a room on 1st floor. The things that were not good were out of their control. The property had a 1970's vibe which we usually enjoy. It looked like there had been not updates since then. The entire place and our room could have used a deep cleaning. Our back sliding door lock did not work. There was a metal pole in the doori nstead. Me being a small woman could have easily lifted the metal door off the tracks if I wanted to break in. The hotel is located in between an old Walmart and some old apartments. There were homeless sleeping out front near the Walmart side. Our bed felt like it was from the 1970's. It was a king bed with a huge lump in the middle. Had our reservation been for more than 1 night we would have left.
