"The room was great and furnishings made it seem like a home away from home. My wife and I enjoyed the warm cozy feel of the property and for our stay it was centrally located from Chico State and Bidwell Park and the hikes that we wanted to do. Will definitely be staying here again."

"Breakfast was good, eggs, sausage, waffles plus the normal continental grab and go stuff. The property is run down but clean. It was hard to wheel my luggage across the hallway rug because it's coming up in several places. But other than it having the run-down feeling in a few places, the staff was so kind and helpful and everything was very clean, so for the price, especially considering the yummy breakfast, excellent stay!"

There was a problem with another guest reservation, and we had to hear the issue about 5 times over the phone, once we got to the counter took 3 minutes. She could have put the people on hold helped us and the person behind us then went back to the issue. The staff did not check the dining room in the morning to clean tables and to make sure items for breakfast were stocked, they sat at the reservations desk on their phones. "
