“We have found our new favorite place to stay in Dahlonega. The home is extremely charming as described and in the perfect location. Our host was very friendly and accommodating. We are already planning another stay. ”

“Unlikely to stay there again. It was quaint, but lacking in amenities. The lobby didn't open until 8:00 AM for coffee which is too late for an early riser. A small coffee maker in the room would solve this problem. Be aware (as I was not) you are renting a bedroom, no TV and you are a few miles from a restaurant so make sure you have snacks. This set-up may work for some travelers but I found it lacking in amenities that would make the stay a bit nicer. It was clean, but the pool was not open……

“The house was very clean and kitchen was well stocked. I loved the open design of the kitchen. It made the whole area feel more spacious. The rooms were very comfortable. Bathrooms were large and modernized tastefully.It was a short walk to the square which we enjoyed a lot. Hiking and historic sites were close by. We had a wonderful stay. I look forward to a return visit and would be what to stay here again. Thank you so much for sharing your home.”

“Everything was clean and no smells or anything bad. My only complaint (minor) was that the rooms were a little old. Not a big deal, really, but they're noticeably dated and in need of a refresh.”

“We had a wonderful stay at The Blue Door. It is such a cute house and the artwork is wonderful! The house was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there was a good supply of essentials. The location was beautiful and we had several great sunsets from the upper deck. Communication with Kim was great and she was very responsive to questions. We highly recommend The Blue Door.”
