“Lovely hotel great location ”

“A experiência foi maravilhosa! O grande destaque do hotel, sem dúvida, é o restaurante em estilo texano — simplesmente fantástico. A comida é deliciosa do café da manhã até o jantar (funciona ao longo do dia até por volta das 22h), tudo muito bem feito. O ambiente é super agradável, animado, temático e muito bem decorado — um lugar que por si só já vale a estadia. Os quartos ficam na parte de cima e são muito bons, atendem super bem. Não são de alto nível de conforto, mas são agradáveis e……

“Fantastic location for the event i was attending. Close to local shops, pubs & cafes. The hotel staff were polite, very warm, welcoming, accommodating & friendly - a totally lovely experience. Would highly recommend to family & friends. The hotel can only accommodate able body individuals..... no wheelchair access and no facilities Re: lifts The stairs are narrow in places”

“Stayed here one night with my partner for his birthday. Lovely scenery, cozy get away. Staff were very helpful on the phone when needed.”

“Debra and Drew were very welcoming hosts. We used The Barn as a lauch pad to visit Chartwell and Knole. Perfect choice. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. We were spoilt for choice regarding local eateries. We chose The White Hart for dinner and it was top knotch. ”

“Good hotel and comfortable bed. Had cancel the second night as the hotel was closed. Access for an 81 year old was very difficult. Lots of stairs to manage. The very cold weather made it even more difficult. The manager was very good and helpful. We hope to get a refund for the second night. The location was excellent and the pub was very quirky and quite special. ”

“The hotel is old but very nicely maintained and uniquely decorated; great food in the bar/restaurant, though a bit pricey for a very small community like this. Staff are helpful as well.”

“The room is beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Helpful staff and was able to hire us a car to pick us up at the train station. Great breakfast and dinner, highly recommended. ”

“Good value. Had a pleasant ground floor room overlooking greenery and you can open windows and French doors to get a pleasing evening breeze. Property is a little dated but we were fine with that. Access to plugs is an issue for charger, kettle and iron , cant use light plugs as different so have to pull out tv on stand to access and crawl in. They should have an extension plug pack to make it easier.”
