Amazing property… I would come back in a heartbeat!

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and lumpy. The pillows screwed up my neck. However, Kevin and Farrah at the front desk were incredibly helpful. We ate at the hotel restaurant and the food was good. Overall, the people working there were great! The beds and pillows were not to my liking but that was my only issue.

We visited on 9/17. We went to check in at 5:15 and the agent at the front desk said the room was not ready. This was tough on a couple fronts, our check in was set for 4pm and we watched another couple get their room and they started their check in process after we started ours. The agent offered to hold our things as we needed to quickly settle in and head to dinner/concert but we explained that didn't work b/c we needed to change clothes. We were ok to leave the things in a room that would still need to be cleaned but she wasn't able to accommodate that. Finally the agent relented and gave us a room but is was awkward as she did so begrudgingly. We were lucky as I noticed multiple other folks waiting for their rooms after we check in as we were waiting for an uber to head out. Addtionally, we had to visit 4 different floors to find a working ice machine. Generally I found the staff to be lacking in hospitality, empathy and hustle. It's a cool historic property, the room was clean and met basic expecations but the execution on this visit was bad. I hope this feedback helps the team to improve.

Courteous staff and the room was outstanding. It was our second stay at the inn. Everything is first class. We highly recommend it.
