Hotel Autentico was fine, The staff are very friendly and helpful. My room was very noisy and I asked to be moved which was taken care of nicely. The hotel is a little dated and I didn’t enjoy my dinner in the restaurant. It was overpriced and not very good. Overall, the hotel was ok for the price.

It was an excellent choice! Rooms are nice, beds are comfortable. Hotel is located 10min from Carara park. They offered us the Tarcoles cocodrile tour and it was amazing!

Don’t waste your energy hiking the waterfall trail. Go to Puerto Escondido lookout and Playa Manuel Antonio but arrive early to beat the crowds. Definitely a must do!
