"This place blew our expectations out of the water!!! (No pun intended because it’s literally on the water) it’s so charming and such a great property. We started off with drinks across the street at the Drift which was amazzzzzing and beautiful then headed to the Inn. After a seamless check in we went out to the Boardwalk bar for drinks and live music. The service was fantastic and the drinks were great. Once the bar was closing we grabbed our suits and had a night swim in the pool. The rooms could definitely use a little upgrade (which they stated was in progress) there was a big jacuzzi tub in the room that we utilized and then sat outside on the balcony and listened to the lake. Such a perfect relaxing evening!!! The only complaint I would make is the room had been cleaned with Pinesol or something like that and the room REEKED of cleaner and the floor had a slippery film from the mop. I was glad that I brought a fan from home because I had to open the doors and windows to air out the smell while we were downstairs."

"Very nice stay at this hotel. The breakfast was "minimal" continental style. Would have liked to see some additional fruit choices besides apples. Bananas or oranges would have been nice options. The pool and hot tub area was nice. The floor is very slippery when wet so be careful! Overall this was a great location for us and visiting the Dunes areas."

"The house was amazing! Kitchen was fully stocked. House was clean and had everything we needed for my family of 4. The views were spectacular and the beach was pristine! Already booked for vacation next year!"

"The host Mike was wonderful and easy to work with. Home was well appointed and very clean, pet friendly and yet no sign that pets had stayed there. Our dog loved the fenced in yard. Bike and walking trails everywhere. Great location close to the Dunes. Also only a short trip into downtown Chicago. We would definitely stay there again."
