“I had no hot water from the time we arrived until the time we left. I kept contacting the staff and got one response saying it would be fixed and nothing ever changed. The owner finally stood outside my room on Sunday and said he would refund me half and would have the hot water fixed but then the power went out around midnight and didn’t come back on until Monday at 6:19am and not a single word from the staff. I didn’t want to leave this review but I didn’t get one response and they still……

“The staff were not very nice but I enjoyed the room and the people that we met at the resort. It was very clean and had a good vibe. It's relaxing and still close to the downtown area. I went during carnival season so maybe the staff were overworked but I saw a staff member continue to stare at her phone when a guest was asking a question. “Beautiful property, quiet and well kept. Only downfall is location is on the French side of the island and without a car things get very expensive getting taxis to and from things to do. If planning to stay at this resort please know it’s on the French side which means it’s not close to the popular tourists attractions. Otherwise decent resort.”

“First time staying in Saint Marteen a week and honestly we couldn’t have picked a better hotel. From the location- on the Dutch side but walking distance from the french side. The hotel was extremely clean, the view to the ocean was incredible… and much to my surprise it was a full apartment. Had a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, large bedroom and beautiful bathroom. The closet space, and drawer space was perfect to unpack and feel at home! “Loved our stay in a one bedroom suite! Our room was lovely, very comfortable and we had everything we needed. We enjoyed eating our complimentary breakfast (very good) on our terrace. We often stopped by the pool area on our way back from the beach. It is beautiful and a great place to relax and cool off. The evening shuttle to Grande Case gave us the option to catch a ride, though we often walked as it’s close by and we enjoyed the walk. Many great restaurants in the area….we loved Java……
