It was clean and no bad smells. The price was right. I was very polite, friendly and upbeat on check in but this was hardly reciprocated. I was given one key for two people and no choice of upstairs or downstairs in a motel situation. Luckily the room was quiet apart from the heater. The bathroom door jammed and I did not have the strength to open it -beware single travelers. There was no plug for the sink and inadequate hot water-very poor flow. No hairdryer. No coffee maker or supplies. No hair conditioner. Only two small towels for two people. Scary sparking alarm clock and tatty lampshade. A bad stain on the carpeting. The sheets were terrible quality. The pillows were actually just right. The bed was awfully uncomfortable. Neither me nor my husband slept well at all. We really appreciated that the Gideon Bible was still in place. The breakfast was appalling. We would NEVER stay here again. I gave two stars for the price and the positive things I wrote about. If this is all you can afford and all that is available I will say I did feel safe at least, but it was not a welcoming or comfortable room at all.
