Incredible. Idyllic. Perfect location and anything you want is within a very short walking distance. I went with friends and we had a 2 bdrm 2 bath suite. Worth the extra $$. Having the refrigerator was the best. We also had a huge private balcony looking out over the pool and the ocean. Hotel is right on the beach. Couldn’t be any closer to the water. There was just a sense of “calm.” The staff from the front desk to the bartenders, security, and housekeeping couldn’t have been better. Great snorkeling from the beach. Turn left from the hotel and walk about three min to the end of the beach and get in the water. Access along the beach to s many restaurant and bars. Guys on the beach and for $20 will take you out to the Blue Channel to snorkel. Water taxis to the West End are a few hundred feet from the Arca. There is a pier. You can’t miss it. ****TIPS. Whomever you use for transportation from the airport, stop at the Eldon’s grocery store when you leave the airport to pick up drinks and snacks. Also, have $1 & $5 bills for tips. We never converted our USD to lempira. Used credit cards at restaurants and cash for the water taxis, etc…*** We will be at the Arca for the next trip!!!
