⭐⭐ 3/5 – Disappointing Experience at Grand Roatán I had high expectations for Grand Roatán, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. Before arriving in Roatán, I called the hotel to arrange airport transportation for my family. When we arrived, nobody was there to pick us up, so we had to hire a taxi at our own expense to get to the property. After arriving, we were unable to get into our room until after 4:00 PM. When we finally received our room, I was very disappointed. We were placed in a bungalow located far from the main property. The bungalow felt outdated and not as clean as expected, and it was a long walk every time we wanted to access the main hotel facilities. I contacted the front desk and requested a room change. I was told they would look into it and get back to me, but during my entire 3-night stay, nobody ever followed up with me. Another issue was the cost. The resort is very expensive, and it seemed like there were extra fees and taxes added multiple times. For the price, I expected much more. There was very little entertainment available on-site, and we often had to walk to another hotel just to find activities and entertainment. The beach and location are beautiful, but overall, the service, accommodations, and value for the money did not meet my expectations. For these reasons, I can only give my stay 3 out of 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐
