“Great location!”

“System was down and waited 4 hours for check in. Was offered water while we waited. Checked into handicapped room at 11pm and electric blinds did not work requiring piling pillow up to block sun, exposed wires everywhere, filled holes in walls with patchy painting, poor customer service to resolve an awful check in”

“Be aware that rooms are not at all sound proof. I was kept up all night hearing the loud and frequent activities of the people next door. Management did not seem to care.”

“The hotel is in a great location off of I-65 in Birmingham. It's a beautiful area and the hotel has been renovated. I'm glad there is no longer nasty carpeting on the floors. The staff moved us promptly to another room when I called the front desk to report that our TV wasn't working after we had checked in. My husband and I would definitely stay there again!”

“Overall, our stay was pleasant, and most aspects of the accommodation met our expectations. However, there were a few issues that affected our experience. Upon entering the bathroom, there was an unpleasant odor coming from the shower area. Additionally, our room was located on the second floor, and the shower did not provide any cool or cold water—only very warm to hot water was available, which made showering uncomfortable. We also noticed that there were no extra linens provided in the room,……

“Pool was open, but green. Hotel was overall hot.”

“Checked in staff was nice. Room had a smell, mold in the bathroom on the walls (Blackmold), mold on the window casing. The TV speakers were broken. Due to the timing the office person offered to move us to another room, which we did. The second room didn’t have mold. Smelled. The outside of the property is nice, the rooms need updating.”

“Why don't they tell you this ahead of time!!!!! They are renovating ALL parts of the hotel but especially down in the lobby area. And they aren't being very quick about things so the renovations will continue for a LONG time. There is noise 9-5 during the week days and dust everywhere. The room was spacious enough but extremely dated furniture & carpet. Due to the renovations there was no continental breakfast, could not find an ice machine anywhere and nothing in the lobby except 24-hour……

“The front desk staff was wonderful. The two free drinks were a great bonus. The free dinner was ok, but couldn't eat there two days in a row. Breakfast was ok too, but not a lot of choices. The room was clean, but we could hear everything going on in the hallway. Overall we really liked it there. Not perfect, but very nice. I would recommend it.”

“The room was clean and spacious. Kitchen area included a full sized refrigerator, a dishwasher, a stove, and a microwave. The king-size bed was comfortable. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage and pulled pork, cubed potatoes cooked with peppers, cereals and milk, yogurt, coffee, muffins, breads, etc. We were not informed when we reserved the room that parking was $25 each day. The parking area is surrounded by a fence. Parking is accessed at a gate activated by a keypad keycode.”

“This is a nice place to stay, room clean, staff friendly, I had a question about something, staff explained everything with respect and made sure that I didn’t need anything. All staff members that I encounter was very friendly.”
