“This is a great little property tucked in a quiet area of Alamo Heights. The house has a nice 50’s vibe, and the hot tub and little yard are great for hanging with family. The home is outfitted with comfy furniture and a full kitchen, with a few added entertainment qualities that make it really fun. The only draw back that might keep me from staying again was the bathroom. The shower is a menace to society, small and didn’t drain well. If you have any mobility issues it will be a little scary……

“We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this cabin for families! It was comfortable for our family of four and made a great home base for exploring the area. One thing to note is that our cabin did not have the hammock shown in the listing, The mattress on the main bed could also use an update, as it was quite noisy whenever someone moved. “Great little spot in the hills. Very pretty area. Great views from the deck. Good for an active couple. We slept well. Comfortable bed. Just noting for travelers with dogs that the dogs are allowed on the property, but that's where the "dog friendly" aspect ends. The listing didn't note it - or I wouldn't have booked here - but dogs aren't allowed on the couch and have to be crated when alone. Those rules weren't shared until check-in time and it's too late to cancel.”
