"This is evidently a popular spot in the community, as we saw a bridal shower and a baby shower when we checked in! The restaurant is very nice, and although we only had drinks and desserts, they were very good. It was also helpful for our travel plans that they offer a continental breakfast starting at 5AM, and the full breakfast a bit later. "There are a few on street parking areas right in front that are available to use between 6pm - 8/9:00 am. The rooms are above a bar but it closed down around 11:00. Any room on the third floor is the quietest, but very hot and there are no fans. While the window opens, it took forever to cool down and never really got below 72 to sleep. We stayed in late June. "We had a lovely stay. The hotel has been nicely renovated and you can tell they have paid attention to the small details. We especially liked that they provided The Scottish Fine Soaps Company toiletries, which was a nice touch. As we had an early ferry to catch the next morning, the hotel thoughtfully prepared a takeaway breakfast for us the night before.
