As someone who has worked in the hospitality industry I would recommend white crisp bedding, towels and white washable floor towels to give clean hotel feel. The bedding and towels were old. With dark colours it’s hard to tell if it anything had been cleaned or not. Also the towels had a very strong fragrance as a woman with sensitive skin I didn’t like that. The blankets were also very thin. When I walked in the entire place smelt like room spray. When I sat down on the couch it smelt like fish. It didn’t seem hygienic to sit on the smelly fabric couch and it didn’t have a throw blanket. The walls and bathroom sink needed a good clean. However great location with a beautiful view.

Stayed 2 nights at this new (opened late 2025) downtown hotel and was very impressed. Booking a room through was easy. Checkin was smooth, the room was modern, well appointed, stylish and comfortable. View from my top floor room was amazing. The included buffet breakfast was sumptuous, with great food choices and tasty. Staff that I encountered were friendly, professional and helpful. A shout-out to front desk agents Teo and Angela, who were of great assistance. This hotel has a straight-forward, reasonably-priced late checkout policy which suited my travel schedule. This property is in the heart of Toronto's entertainment district, neighbouring the TIFF, and close to everything downtown. I plan a return stay at this hotel when I'm next in town. Highly recommended!
