“It is a beautiful log cabin property and the owners were very inviting and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. It was family owned and operated and they were so nice. I would love to stay there again.”

“Lovely large room with view of the ski runs. Fluffy towels and comfortable bed made our stay great. Staff were friendly. Sandpoint is a 15 minute drive down a snaking road with tight switchbacks. However, there were nice restaurants associated with the resort.”

“The other reviews are spot on about the rooms--wow! They are updated, clean and have a super cute vibe! The owners are really great and one is from my hometown (which was a fun fact). The only criticism that I have, is that the rooms are on the noisy side being on a busy road. If you are not sensitive to noise, you'll be fine. (They do provide earplugs which is nice for people like me who don't like the noise from the road and ac units.) That said, I would stay here again for sure!”

“The room was immaculate. Coulda performed surgery in there it was so clean. Breakfast will get food in your belly but it’s no culinary extravaganza. Would be nice if I could’ve logged into a streaming service but the TV is unintelligent. All-in-all it’s clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. 10/10 would recommend.”

“We truly enjoyed our time staying at the teepee on the property. It's located at the back of the property and it is peaceful. The bed was comfortable and was clean inside. There was also a table and futon couch and microwave/fridge. A few things to note: There is a small airport across the road and we heard a plane flying very nearby at night which we wouldn't have expected. Also there are trains which pass and sound their horns. It's not loud but I heard it while my wife completely slept……

“We were welcomed by the friendly Front Desk Staff. Our room was clean & spacious. The pool & hot tub area was great. Nice hot breakfast with a good selection. The Front Desk gave us several lunch restaurant suggestions which we appreciated. We had a fun 2 night-stay at Hotel Ruby!”

“This cabin was new and updated with a cool loft area for the kids to sleep. The cabin is also close to so many neat hikes. The fire pit was awesome too, we did s'mores every night. I would highly recommend this place to any avid hikers!”

“Check in was smooth. Staff were very friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable, the rest of the hotel was clean, even the stairwells which often seem to be neglected in other places I’ve stayed. The provided breakfast rates at the top for variety and quality. I have to mention that the attendant at breakfast went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a positive experience!”
