Lovely looking hotel right in the centre of the city however the hotel is not fully ready ie there were no cushions for the sun loungers to use by the pool, some areas still under construction and breakfast is not the best. For the high price paid, it is not worth it at this point in time. It will be once everything is set up.

We had a mix up at the beginning with our room, and had to change to a different room half way through our stay, which was annoying. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay at Santa Cruz Boutique Hotel. Staff are helpful and pleasant, and the hotel is new and nicely decorated. Mindelo is a small city, and it's very easy to walk anywhere in the centre from the hotel.
