We stayed in the family room with the priate bathroom. Its on the first floor and was a lovely room with a modern bathroom. Its right next to the kitchen, but its alsp on the ground floor so you may hear some noise from the upstairs guests. This guesthouse is right next to Gott, which is a FABULOUS restaurant at which we dined for both lunch and dinner. It's within a few blocks of a pharmacy and one of the hiking trailheads.

Beautiful guest house. Large room with view of a volcano and most comfortable bed of my entire stay in Iceland. Modern bathroom. Very convenient to ferry. Easy parking. Very nice but not bougie just how I like it!

If you happen to be in Iceland, hop on a quick ferry ride to the Westman Islands. Here you can hike up the active Eldfell Volcano. On your way up you'll see the rocks change color, and spot a few active hot spots to feel the temperature rising from below. Make sure to get to the very top no matter how tired you are.
