The Rialto is a wonderful hotel, I found it to be be very clean and beds comfortable. The front end staff was very helpful and friendly.

Lovely time spent at the hotel for our stay. Walking distance from the hotel to dining, sightseeing was perfect for us. The hotel staff was friendly and generous as well!

We are locals and had a celebration to attend, so we decided to stay downtown. This is a basic hotel in a very convenient location in downtown Victoria BC. It is not a fancy place but breakfast was very good, beds were comfortable, and the room and property was clean and well maintained (May 2026).
We enjoyed watching the horse trollys go down the street during breakfast, which had loads of food options. The dining area was spacious and clean and had a view of the parliament offices.
The only downside to this stay was the room they had us in, #103, is above a delivery or pickup driveway of some sort. We were awoken quite early by very loud vehicle noise and subsequent banging of the garbage bin and other activities a couple times. So we were up an hour earlier than planned.
There is always that room in a hotel, and we just happened to be assigned to it.
Overall a nice stay.

We stayed there for the weekend, and the staff was amazing. And the hotel was a great location and we enjoyed the I guess like VIP lounge area. I would definitely stay here again
