Just keeping it real, but this was the worst hotel stay we have ever had. It was a gross error of advertising. There was no restaurant, no game room and no hot tub. The picture of the room that we stayed in, which was the Sugarmaple, was not even accurate. It was painted a gross navy blue, and there was no mirrored dresser like the advertisement says. The overhead light in the room was some hideous chandelier that did not match anything and was not your quintessential Vermont Inn decor. The bathroom was clean enough, but the grout in the shower was mildew stained. When I first walked in to check in, the front desk appeared to be like a work zone. Very unprofessional . The only reason I didn’t say anything to them and try to leave was because it was the first week of October and I knew we would not be able to find another room anywhere else. They definitely need to come down on their price and change their advertising until they get it remodeled and back up to par.
