“The best thing about this hotel is the location. It sits by itself up on a hill with trees all around; away from the highway, very scenic and quiet. Nice artwork, lots of room space with separate sitting area. Clean, comfortable. There was some mold in the shower. The door handle malfunctioned so it was hard to open the door every time with the key card. No freezer in the refrigerator. The worst thing was there were no teabags for 2 days at the breakfast. “The room was fine and there is parking for trucks/trailers and it is close to a Royal Blue trail entrance. My only complaint was the room keys. Everyone in our party had the same issues. The keys deactivated after you use them one or two times. We were continually having to go back to the front desk to get keys reactivated. It was frustrating when coming in from riding you’re dirty, tired, and ready to take a shower, and you had to go back to the front desk yet again for another key activation .”

“The owner and his sister are friendly and helpful with anything you might need! The rooms I’ve stayed in are always clean and have a nice microwave and small refrigerator. I like that I can park right outside my door and as a single, older woman I like that there are secure room locks. The TV has plenty of channels and the beds are always comfy. I travel to that area at least once a year and we’ll always stay here!!”
