8.2/10 Very Good! (1,276 reviews)
We recently stayed at the Hyatt Vacation Club for 5 nights and overall had a good experience, but it started off rough. Check-in was a nightmare—we had to wait over 1.5 hours before we finally got our room. The front desk couldn’t even give us a time estimate for when our room would be ready, which was incredibly frustrating. We probably would’ve waited even longer if I hadn’t spoken to a manager. As soon as I did, the room was suddenly available—something that didn’t sit well with us.
That said, once we got settled, the resort itself was beautiful. The property is well-kept and relaxing. Our room was spacious and comfortable, which made a big difference for our family.
The restaurant food was just okay—not great, but decent. The real highlight was the variety of family-friendly activities. We had a great time doing the escape room and going fishing together—it definitely added to the experience.
Despite the frustrating check-in, we ended up having a nice stay. Just be aware that you might need to be persistent to get things moving.
