"This is a fantastic resort. Quaint little cabins along the river. A back porch and rocking chair to enjoy your morning coffee. Each cabin is situated in such a way that it feels private on your back porch. The cabin was clean and spacious. A mini fridge and coffee were available in the room. A delicious cafe was available on site and offered breakfast and lunch. My only regret is that we did not stay longer. "

"Peacefull, quite and close to town. AC running all of the time but struggle to keep the cabin cool. Had to turn the two ceiling fans running all of the time to help the AC unit. Probably need newer bath and kitchen towels. Overall a good place to spend a few night away from home."

"We were very satisfied. We saw birds we had never seen, Longhorns and other wildlife. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the moonrise and hearing owls with coffee in the mornings. It was fun spending 2 nights in the small cabin. The only problem we had was the A/C failed and the managers addressed it very promptly. Our only issue was lack of a mirror at the sink and the one in the bathroom was not needed."

"To start, our place was absolutely perfect and you can literally walk in with just your clothes and the basic of meals and be setup. The dock is just across the little “street” in front of the house and was the most enjoyable part of the stay. The water is beautiful, the area is clean and well kept. If you walk around you’ll see plenty of deer and wildlife and the fishing was great! It’s a 12 minute walk to the best Italian restaurant you’ll ever eat at (in Texas). "Place was really nice. Hubby loved the tub and being out in nature. Had his own photo shoot in nature. My only complaint is it was 20 min to the main road to get anywhere. I know it was mentioned but the phone service was nonexistent. Had to get almost to the main Rd’s for any kind of service. Over we had a blast."
