“Couldn’t have asked for a better host. We had a little issue upon arrival but it was handled perfectly by Kimberly.The rest of our stay was wonderful. My kids loved the upstairs loft with separate beds. The home was equipped with great things to entertain them. I loved and appreciated how the suggestion list for things to do in the are was so thorough. We did some of the things from the list and we really enjoyed it. Mission accomplished with creating great core memories with my kiddos. Overall……

“Wife and I wanted to get away for a quick trip to take our dog hiking and see the Harry Potter thing they had in Bastrop. This place was a great, easy location for trails and coffee shops around. Nice driveway to use and the bedding was very comfortable! ”

“We’ll start with the positives: owner was responsive to questions and concerns; location was a short walk to The Island where we could watch the sunset over the water. Beyond that it was, sadly, a disappointment. The front yard/entry was overgrown so the entry path wasn’t useable. The house itself is dated and shows obvious wear, and hadn’t been used in a while. There were clumps of dust in the corners, burrs in the carpet, old, mismatched, dirty dishes & glasses and so much mold in the master……

“We stayed here for our wedding 2 years ago! You definitely have added some awesome stuff and kept it up. However, the truck dumping trash last night was super loud and disrupted our sleep and the hot water in the shower didn’t work :(”

“The place is small and the deck was great overlooking the lake, but only accessible thru the bedroom which was only accessible by a small spiral stairwell. We could not get our suitcases up the stairwell which was too tight. There is great outdoor space, but we went in the winter and it was too cold to enjoy it all. Bed linens were great but towels were small and too few. ”
