Great overnight trip

Nice experience

Extremely disappointing experience and absolutely not the 5-star cruise that was advertised. Our cabin had a very strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom that spread throughout the entire room and made us feel nauseous. Even staff members who came to inspect the room had to cover their noses. We requested a room change immediately but were told there were no other rooms. staff lit scented candles, blocked the drains, and turned on an ozone machine inside the enclosed cabin. ozone machines are unsafe to use while occupied, which was extremely concerning. the smell remained throughout the stay and was still very strong and nauseating the next morning. There were also ants in the cabin, further reinforcing the poor hygiene standards. The food was also quite mid and nowhere near what you would expect from a luxury cruise experience. To make matters worse, the company switched us to a completely different cruise only one day before departure. We booked the original cruise specifically for its traditional Vietnamese aesthetic and panoramic room design, but the replacement felt inferior and completely different from what was advertised. When we requested even a partial refund due to how severely the experience was impacted, they offered only around AUD $120, which felt insulting given the seriousness of the issues and the price paid.we rejected the refund We do NOT recommend this stay

We stayed on a 2 night cruise in July. Amazing friendly and helpful staff. Ronald (Customer Service Manager) and his team went above and beyond to help me out when I purchased some pearls from a pearl farm on our day trip. The earrings were faulty and broke. The staff tried so hard to contact the pearl farm to help me get a replacement, which happened. Thankyou team! The rooms are amazing but travellers need to be aware that while the government and cruise liners are coming to agreement, there is no wifi (starlink doesnt work) therefore no TV. Drinks are expensive But there is alot to choose from the buffet menu. Highlights are waking up at 5am and watching the beautiful sunrise. Recommendations for the Celina of the Seas would be to include some bubble-bath for guests to use with the beautiful bathtubs. Maybe also create some USB's with movie options doe guests who wish to relax in their rooms, or have children who need some quiet time (while there is no wifi). Recommendation to travellers is to stay for 2 nights to enjoy the beautiful area without feeling too rushed. Each ship has specific itineraries for guests whether they are staying one night, or two, and the days start early. Highlight was definitely the staff - so friendly, energetic, and so obviously trying to ensure we had the best stay possible.
