From Tsuwano, the well-known city of Hiroshima is 40 miles (64 kilometers) to the east.
It's a missed chance if you limit your sightseeing to the points of interest in Tsuwano because the whole region is dotted with numerous captivating cities, attractions and landscapes. Two places in the vicinity of Tsuwano are Hagi, 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the east, and Yamaguchi, 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the northeast.
